In the United States, swordfish are caught from Maine to Louisiana as they migrate up and down the East Coast. In the Atlantic, almost all swordfish are caught using longlines, although very small volumes are landed by harpoon and hook-line. In the Pacific, the Hawaiian sword fleet uses longlines, while the California fleet fishing methods can vary. A tight, rich-red bloodline in the meat is often associated with the highest quality swordfish.

    Swordfish that I ordered online was excellent....came next day as advertised, packaged well....ready to cook and eat....very pleased....3rd time using the online order system (salmon,haddock,swordfish) and all have been excellent...Highly recommend !!

    There is nothing like fresh Swordfish. Especially to finish off a Summer weekend, on a Sunday evening. This swordfish melted in my mouth, it was that fresh. I used a friends recipe to prepare and it was excellent. Here it is: In a plastic gallon bag add the juice from 4 fresh squeezed lemons, olive oil (quarter cup), fresh ginger (1x1inch piece grated to paste), chill powered, red pepper flakes, healthy dash of your favorite hot sauce, salt and pepper. Let sit for 1-3 hours turning bag occasionally. Then grill to your liking. You wont be disappointed with this purchase.

    What better way to spend a beautiful, Summer Sunday evening than fresh New England seafood? In a plastic gallon bag add the juice from 4 fresh sqeezed lemons, olive oil (quarter cup-ish), fresh ginger (1x1inch peice grated to paste), chill powered, red pepper flakes, healthy dash of your fav hot sauce, salt and pepper. Let sit for 1-3 hours turning bag occasionally. Then grill that puppy up!
